This project will utilize plans provided by the Town for the construction of the culvert, encompassing the removal of the existing culvert and all associated works necessary for project completion. Project Location: The project site is located on East Hill Road in Wardsboro, Vermont. Detailed location coordinates and plan specifications will be provided to interested contractors upon request. Thoroughly review and understand the plans provided by the Town for the construction of the three-sided box culvert. - Participate in a pre-construction meeting with Town representatives to discuss project specifics, timelines, and any concerns. 2. Permit Acquisition: - Obtain all required permits for the installation of the culvert, including environmental, zoning, and construction permits. - Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations throughout the permitting process. 3. Site Preparation and Existing Culvert Removal: - Prepare the project site for construction activities, including clearing vegetation and establishing proper access. - Safely remove the existing culvert and dispose of all debris in accordance with applicable regulations and environmental best practices. 4. Construction According to Provided Plans: - Execute the construction of the three-sided box culvert precisely according to the plans provided by the Town, ensuring adherence to all specifications, dimensions, and design requirements. - Utilize appropriate construction techniques and materials to ensure the durability and longevity of the culvert structure. 5. Site Restoration and Erosion Control: - Implement erosion control measures throughout the construction process to minimize environmental impact. - Restore the project site to its original condition upon completion of construction activities, including grading, landscaping, and installation of erosion control features as necessary. 6. Project Documentation and Reporting: - Provide comprehensive documentation of all construction activities, including daily progress reports, as-built drawings, material certifications, and any relevant photographs. - Submit a final project report summarizing the work completed, deviations from the original plans (if any), and any recommendations for future maintenance or improvements. Proposal Submission Requirements: Interested contractors are required to submit the following information as part of their proposal: 1. Proposed project timeline, outlining key milestones, construction phases, and anticipated completion date. 2.
