Metal and Aluminum Pipes & Fittings Allows zero unit prices and labor Yes Allows negative unit prices and labor Yes Assorted Metal & Aluminum Pipes and Fittings The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury invites you to provide a bid for assorted pipes and fittings. This bid package includes, but is not limited, the following items: o Metal Round Pipe o Arched Pipe o Aluminum Round Pipe o Aluminized Steel Pipe o Bands o Tees o Fittings o Grates o Geotextile Fabric Technical specifications for each type of pipe are provided before the bid form section for that type of pipe. Bidders are requested to also provide the brand name for the pipe/bands in the provided spaces. Bidders responding to this bid are to provide prices for the items they are able to provide. Bidders are not required to provide prices for all items included in this bid to be considered responsive. The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury reserves the right to award items separately, grouped or on an all-or-none basis and to reject any or all bids. 3. For the following: (1) Metal and Aluminum Pipe & Fittings (2) Crushed Stone and (3) Collection and Distribution of Pipe and Fittings with unit prices effective from July 1, 2024 until December 31, 2024. 5. Preference is given to materials, supplies and provisions that are produced, manufactured, or grown in Louisiana, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside of the State. 6. The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. 7. Bids may be held by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to award. 8. Official action on this bid will be taken at the Regular Meeting of the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury within forty-five (45) days. 9. Minority owned firms, women owned businesses, and small businesses are encouraged to participate. Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury no later than seven (7) days prior to bid opening.
