Site work and paving for a civil project in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work, officially known as Project No. 24115, SHEPARD AVENUE WATER MAIN RELAY PROJECT, consists of constructing the following approximate quantities: 1,380 LF of 12" dia. PVC water main relay, 47 LF 6" Dia. PVC Hydrant Lead, 61 LF of 4" dia. PVC water service relay, 476 LF 1.25" Dia. HDPE Water Service, 2 Each Remove and Relocate Hydrant, 2 Each 12" Gate Valve & Box, 2 Each 6" Gate Valve & Box, 1 Each 4" Gate Valve & Box, 12 Each 1.25" Corporation Stop; 12 Each 1.25" Curb Stop & Box, Pavement Restoration; Pavement Marking Restoration, Turf Restoration, Erosion Control, and Traffic Control. BID GUARANTEE A certified check or bank draft payable to the Oak Creek Water & Sewer Utility, or a satisfactory bid bond, in an amount not less than 5% of the bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proposed contract and bond within 10 days after the award of the contract. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the Utility, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Utility as liquidated damages. The Oak Creek Board of Public Works and Capital Assets reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding, or to accept the bid or bids, which best serves the interest of the Utility.
