Project was awarded to Corolla Roofing but awarded amount given. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, a complete "Tear-Off" of existing roof system down to the (steel) deck and installation of a new adhered EPDM roof system. Other work includes replacing roof drains, adding drain markers, removal & replacement of deteriorated steel decking and wood blocking, replacing sealant joints at windows and doors, miscellaneous mechanical & electrical disconnects, installing walkway pads and safety rails and installing a new smoke hatch. The work is estimated to cost $203,229 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, Roofing, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. Filed Sub-Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) for the trades listed below and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Sub-bidder's Update Statement. General Bids, and each filed sub-bid must be accompanied by a bid deposit which shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount. Bid deposit should be made payable to the City of Lynn. Document notes : This deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for General Bidders and for one set for Sub-bidders upon return of the sets in good condition within thirty days of receipt of general bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the awarding authority.
