Reference Number 0000352750 This RFP is for Phase 2 of the rehabilitation and renovation project at East Smithfield Neighborhood Center located at 7 Esmond Street, Smithfield RI 02917 as outlined by the specifications on the Project Manual and supplied drawings. Question Deadline 06/07/2024 at 4:30 PM ET Questions are submitted online No. All questions must be submitted will be responded to promptly. All questions or concerns should be communicated to Carlos Santos, Purchasing Agent at Csantos@SmithfieldRI.gov . Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 10 % - Performance Bond 100 %. The Bidder must submit a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid. The successful Bidder must furnish a Labor and Material Bond and a Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total Bid Price and a Certificate of Insurance naming the Town of Smithfield as the additional insured on the policy and so stated on the certificate. The Contractor shall be responsible for the cost of obtaining a Building Permit. All other required permits shall be obtained and paid for by the General Contractor or its subcontractors. The successful Bidder shall commence the work within fourteen (14) days of a written Notice to proceed from the Owner. Following the Owner's Notice to Proceed, the successful bidder shall not begin construction until a copy of the Building Permit is submitted to the Owner. Bid date: Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the exterior of the envelope "BID FOR THE RENOVATION TO EAST SMITHFIELD NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER with the date and hour of the bid opening "
