Reference Number 0000352683 The Jamestown Recreation Center is seeking qualified contractors for the repair and resurfacing of its gym floor, including line paintings for basketball and pickleball. Additionally, the project will include an optional add-on for refinishing the stage area. Below are the specifications and requirements for the bid: Gym and Stage Specifications: Gym Floor: Approximately 50' x 64' (total 3,200 sq. ft.) Stage Floor: Approximately 1,200 Sq. ft. Resurfacing: Sand and refinish using products compatible with existing flooring. Line Markings: Reapply basketball and pickleball lines per existing design. Stage Refinishing (Optional Add-On): Sand, Resurface, refinish and repairs using appropriate products. Floor Repair: Replace necessary parts with compatible materials. Areas of plank bunching towards the edges of the gym. Several areas of split planks. Various other minor repairs. Resurfacing and Refinishing: Sand and refinish gym floor to blend seamlessly with existing finishes. Reapply lines per existing layout using standard colors. Use gym finish products that meet or exceed the existing brand standards (Hillyard or equivalent). Add-On: Stage Refinishing and Repair Sand, refinish, apply stains and repair of the approx. 1,200 sq ft stage area.
