Scope of Work: The City of Ocala is seeking quotes from qualified Florida-licensed General or Building/Residential Contractors to perform rehabilitation work on a residential home located at 1928 SW 2nd St Ocala, FL, 34471. Construction Time: The required start time after the City-issued Notice to Proceed (NTP) shall be a maximum of ten (10) calendar days to begin work. Work will be completed and ready for final payment within ninety (90) days of the issued NTP. The bidder will endeavor to use DBE/MBE subcontractors whenever possible. For non-grant funded projects, City of Ocala s goal is 15% as a race-neutral DBE goal. FDOT funded projects have a race-neutral DBE goal of 10.65%. The Ocala International Airport's DBE goal is 12%. SunTran's goal is 10.65%. Question Deadline 05/29/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Licensing Requirements: Bidder must be a licensed General or Building/Residential Contractor in the State of Florida to submit a bid for this project. The Contractor shall pay the City $100.00 for each calendar day that expires after the time specified for completion until work is completed. The City of Ocala reserves the right, where it may serve the Citys best interest, to request additional information or clarifications from bidders/proposers,
