2" WATER SERVICE to be installed on new water lines under this contract to include, but not limited to: 2" service saddle and tap, 2" corporation stop, 2" GATE VALVE (single disc iron body), cast iron valve box and cover (Type B), 2" PVC, ASTM D2241, SDR 21, NSFPW service pipe, 2" curb stop, keyed bullet-type lock, 2" water meter, meter tailpieces, 2" double check valve, 2" PVC extension pipe and cap, gaskets, meter boxes, brass nipples, excavation, bedding, installation, backfill, compaction, testing, disinfection, entire service complete, fully operational, and ready for customer use. UNIT PRICES shall include all CONTRACTOR'S responsibilities as outlined and identified more specifically within the PLANS and/or called for in the SPECIFICATIONS to include but not limited to: clearing and grubbing; demolition; disposal; dewatering; trench excavation; bore pit excavation; excavation; shoring, sheeting and bracing; materials; special fittings; gaskets; transition gaskets; pipe centering supports in casings; respective bedding, haunching, and initial backfill material; bedding, haunching, and initial backfill; foundations; concrete thrust blocking; thrust rodding; gripping rings; uncased drybores; polyethylene encasement; electromagnetic detectable marking tape; electromagnetic detectable location wire; undercut; borrow; backfill; compaction; subgrade preparation; tie-ins to existing system; filling; flushing; testing; chlorination; disinfection; grading; fine grading; topsoil; proofrolling; seeding; incidental stone base; traffic regulation; erosion and sedimentation control devices and methods; rip rap; repair and/or replacement of all existing underground utilities or facilities encountered; holding, temporary relocation, or permanent relocation of existing utilities as necessary to install proposed utilities; removal and disposal of all debris; waterline abandonment; startup; cleanup; all appurtenances; total job complete and fully operational.
