Title: City of Bloomington, Indiana Construction Engineering for the West 2nd Street Modernization and Safety Improvement Project from South Walker Street to the B Line Trail (Des # 2200012) in the Seymour District. This Request for Proposals (R.FP) is official notification of needed professional services. This RFP is being issued to solicit a letter of Interest (LOI) and other documents from firms qualified to perform engineering work on federal aid projects. A submittal does not guarantee the firm will be contracted to perfonn any services but only serves notice the firm desires to be considered. Local Public Agency: City of Bloomington, Indiana Project Location: West 2nd Street from South Walker Street to the B Line Trail, Bloomington, Indiana Project Description: This project consists of the reconstruction of West 2nd Street. A two-way protected bike lane will be constructed on the north side of West 2nd Street .Additionally, two existing traffic signals will be replaced and modernized. New storm sewer, drainage improvements, accessible sidewalks, curb ramps, and bus stops will also be provided along the full length of the project corridor.
