Seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors to reconstruct two tennis courts at the Medfield High School, and one basketball court at the Public Safety Building. Scope includes, but is not limited to: demolition, paving, court surfacing, hoops, nets, fence repairs, etc. Questions or Requests for Information (RFI) concerning this invitation for proposals must be submitted via email to: bjachowicz@medfield.net and acolleran@email.medfield.net RFIs are due May 21, 2024 by 3:00 PM EST. RFI responses will be sent back on May 24, 2024 by 3:00 PM EST. PROJECT LOCATIONS the project locations are as follows Medfield High School: 88R South St, Medfield, MA 02052 Public Safety Building: 112 North St, Medfield, MA 02052 PROJECT TIMELINE Court reconstruction must be completed with site cleaned and returned to play condition prior to August 23, 2024. Tennis court construction needs to be completed by this date to be ready for the start of school. Basketball court construction is ideally completed in the same timeframe. Completion date includes time for any work required as an outcome of an inspection. If the August 23, 2024 date cannot be met for the Basketball court, list the proposed completion date. Tennis and basketball court dimensions shall match existing. Include GENERAL CONDITIONS and SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS as part of this Section. Unless otherwise stipulated, the Contract and General Conditions of the Contract shall be the Standard Form of Agreement between Town and Contractor as noted in Attachment H - Sample Contract. Examine all other Sections of the Specifications for requirements, which affect work under this Section whether or not such work is specifically mentioned in this Section. Coordinate work with that of all other trades affecting, or affected by work of this Section. Cooperate with such trades to assure the steady progress of all work under the Contract. All personnel assigned to this contract must have an approved Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) by the contract commencement. The contractor is responsible for ensuring any personnel working on school property have an approved CORI. Bidders must provide references which include point of contact and phone number for provision of similar work. Experience must include this type of work.
