Renovation of a residential development in Monson, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
A. The work under the Contract consists of 1. Selective replacement of existing windows at four buildings with either casement or DH style windows. 2. All Work either shown on the drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done. B. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the project site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside of the project site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. 4. Note that as per previous testing, Joint compound contains asbestos. The project is designed such that no disturbance of existing gypsum board surfaces is required. 5. Note that testing has indicated that the exterior sealants do not contain asbestos; no abatement is required. C. Additional Selection Criteria: 1. None - Project estimate is under $100,000. Selective replacement of existing windows at four buildings with either casement or DH style windows. Selective window replacement at four buildings at the 667-1 senior housing development, Colonial Village. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
