for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work for Highway 82 Pump Station, Gravity Sewer, and Force Main, ADEM CWSRF Project No. CS010621-07, Contract B: Sewer Force Main. This project includes approximately 8,280 linear feet of 18-inch PVC force main, 300 linear feet of 18-inch DI force main wet ditch crossing, 7-each air and vacuum valve assemblies, one 24-inch x 18-inch hot tap, one railroad bore with 110 linear feet of 30-inch steel casing and 120 linear feet of 24-inch DI carrier pipe, and miscellaneous appurtenances. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder. All bidders must comply with requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work on which the proposal is submitted. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All nonresident contractors preparing bids shall submit with the bid documents evidence of a current Alabama General Contractor's License, evidence (with original seal of the State of Alabama) of proper registration with the Alabama Secretary of State as a foreign corporation, and a Certificate of Good Standing as a Foreign Corporation from the State of Alabama Department of Revenue. The attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed, minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract, and compliance with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements. This project includes a new sanitary sewer pump station, generator, approximately 1,660 linear feet of 24-inch gravity sewer, approximately 2,980 linear feet of 18-lnch gravity sewer, approximately 1,500 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer, approximately 250 vertical linear feet of 48-inch diameter precast manholes, approximately 185 vertical linear feet of 60-inch diameter precast manholes, one roadway bore with 160 linear feet of 36-inch steel casing and 180 linear feet of 24-inch ductile iron carrier pipe, and miscellaneous appurtenances.
