Question Deadline 06/12/2024 at 4:00 PM ET The scope of work for this project generally includes provision of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of the Race Track Road improvements from West Peyton Parkway to Bartram Park Boulevard in St. Johns County, Florida. Work includes widening of the roadway, clearing, earthwork, roadway pavement, milling and resurfacing, installation of curbs, installation of drainage structures, bridge approach slab replacement, guardrails, sodding, signing, pavement marking, signalization, and lighting as shown in the construction plans. Bid Bond 5% Project Estimated Budget $4,000,000.00 St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor informalities, or award the bid/proposal which best serves the interests of St. Johns County. Any and all questions related to this project shall be directed, in writing, to the Designated Point of Contact. Questions are due no later than Four o'clock (4:00PM) EDST on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, so that any necessary addenda may be issued in a timely manner. Any questions received after the deadline will not be answered unless previously approved by the SJC Purchasing Director or other designated County Representative. . In the event the Designated Point of Contact is absent or otherwise unavailable for more than three (3) business days, firms may contact Bryan Matus, Senior Procurement Coordinator at bmatus@sjcfl.us. SCOPE OF WORK The construction of RaceTrack Road improvements consists of all work necessary to widen the roadway including clearing, earthwork, roadway pavement, milling, resurfacing, curbs, sidewalks, drainage structures, bridge approach slab replacement, guardrail, sodding, signing, marking, signalization and lighting as shown on the plans. It is not the intent of these Contract Documents to minutely define the mode and fabric of construction of this project, but rather set forth reasonable and rational criteria for the construction thereof.
