Contractor shall perform the following tasks in Fairview Park as requested by the City: o Weed removal: Hand or mechanical removal of weeds on bike trails, pathways, and inside and alongside canals, weirs, ponds, and around park amenities. Contractor shall bring green waste to the City Yard for disposal.
o Trimming: Trimming of plant material to maintain the bike trail, pathways and maintenance paths. Contractor shall bring green waste to the City Yard for disposal.
o Steel posts and cable maintenance: Contractor shall repair or replace aircraft cables, steel posts, eyelets and caps for steel posts as requested by the City. City shall provide replacement materials.
o Invasive weeds: Contractor shall remove invasive weeds including Castor Bean, Tree Tobacco, Pampas Grass and other invasive plants as designated by the City's Representative.
o Illegal camping abatement: Contractor shall notify the City's Representative of illegal camping activity observed. Contractor shall assist the City's Representative in removing illegally stored items and bringing them back to the City Yard for disposal. Contractor shall not remove any items without direction from the City's Representative.
o Animal Waste: Contractor shall remove animal waste on the DG trails and other identified pathways.
o Park Amenities: Contractor shall clean and inspect park amenities. Contractor shall furnish labor to repair park amenities including benches, picnic tables, and trash cans. City shall provide materials. Contractor will assist with trash removal from trash cans. Contractor will also remove illegally dumped and discarded items at the park and bring materials to the City Yard for disposal.
o Contractor will perform maintenance activities at various locations throughout Fairview Park as directed by the City's representative. Contractor shall review the attached Fairview Park Site Map to be familiar with the site's various geographic features, trails, and access points to be used by crews during maintenance activities.
Staffing and Schedule
Contractor's routine staffing levels provisioned to the City under this contract will consist of two (2) days of landscaping services per week, with a two (2) person crew to include (1) Landscape Crew Leader, and (1) Landscaper as shown in Appendix B. Contractor may be requested to assist the City with other occasional landscape maintenance services on an as-needed basis for special events, and other additional tasks as requested by the City.
