Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Madison, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

The Madison Board of Aviation Commissioners (BOAC) intends to engage a qualified firm to provide Design-Build services for the construction of a Snow Removal Equipment (SRE) Storage Facility at Madison Municipal Airport. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The successful bidder will also be required to provide certificates for acceptable levels of Public Liability, Vehicle Liability and Property Damage Insurance for all Contractors and Subcontractors. Successful bidder shall also provide certificates for Errors and Omissions for Engineers and Architects of Record. Proposals may be held by the Madison BOAC for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening for the purpose of evaluating proposals prior to award of contract. All rights are reserved, as the BOAC may decide to reject any and all proposals. A DBE participation goal of six and one tenths percent (6.1%) has been established for this project. Submitting Design-Builders must show proof of good faith effort if the goal cannot be met. Good faith effort shall include, but is not limited to, written documentation (emails, faxes, phone memos, etc) and other correspondence detailing attempts to include DBE participation in this project. The BOAC intends to engage a qualified firm to provide Design-Build services for the construction of a 1,600 square foot (minimum) Snow Removal Equipment (SRE) Storage Facility at Madison Municipal Airport (IMS). The bid will include all aspects of construction and design required to provide a fully functional storage facility as detailed in Appendix A.
