Questions Deadline: 5/31/2024 12:00 AM Scope A. The City of Iowa City Housing Authority is seeking a qualified vendor to provide Maintenance Services for Housing Authority properties. Selected vendors would be required to provide labor, supplies and other goods and services necessary to provide maintenance on an as needed and preventative basis. Vendors will be required to provide an hourly rate (for Monday through Friday, excluding City observed holidays, 7:00AM through 5:00PM), an after-hours hourly rate (for hours 5:00PM through 7:00AM, weekends and holidays), and a percentage mark-up rate for materials and parts. If the vendor charges an on-call fee, the fee must be entered in the line items pricing section. Any additional fees that may be charged throughout the duration of the contract are prohibited. Required Services include, but are not limited to: 1. Minor HVAC repair 2. Maintaining and repairing surfaces and architectural finishes of any kind such as but not limited to paint, dry wall (including mudding, taping, sanding, painting, and texturing), wall coverings, carpet, tile, vinyl, counter tops, ceiling finishes including texturing, paneling, or trim 3. Minor plumbing repairs 4. Minor electrical and lighting repairs 5. Minor painting or staining, exterior and interior 6. Door, door knob, garage door, and minor lock repairs including lock rekeying 7. Cabinet, drawer, slide, and pull repairs 8. Window and screen repairs 9. Minor appliance repair 10. Minor roofing and repairs 11. Minor repairs including but not limited to vents, grates, basins, exterior steps, decking, railings, fencing, and gates 12. Trash and debris clean up 13. Gutter cleaning and repair 14. Siding cleaning and repair 15. Posting notices on doors 16. Blind installation and repair 17. Appliance installation including range hoods and other mounted appliances 18. Fixture repair and installation
