Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Base Bid work for the above contract includes the installation of Sanitary Sewer along Wisconn Valley Way (from CTH KR to STH 11), Watermain along Wisconn Valley Way (from CTH KR to Braun Road), and construction of Multi-use Bike Paths along Wisconn Valley Way on the East & West sides of the roadway (from CTH KR to STH 11). Major work items include silt fence, excavation common, PVC watermain & appurtenances, PVC Sanitary Sewer & Manholes, horizontal directional drilling, jack and boring, lateral crossings, dense aggregate base, asphalt pavement, sidewalk, and restoration Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of the bid opening. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the Bid. The Owner has the right to reject any and/or all bids received, to waive any minor defects or irregularities that may be found in the bids, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the Owner, subject to the provisions of Sections 62.15 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes..
