Secondary Access Road Project - NA Sportsplex (BNA Park) Secondary Access Road Project - NA Sportsplex (BNA Park) The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of City of New Albany will consider Sealed Bid(s), for the above designated construction project, and the award, if made, will be at the best value to the government and City of New Albany residents. Scope of work for this project shall include, but not limited to, completing all earthwork for a pro- posed 671.0 linear foot access road, cutting & shaping proposed drainage ditches, constructing concrete headwall around existing drainage pipe, installation of proposed roadway base (granular base) in preparation for future paving, installation of concrete header curb along perimeter of two (2) proposed planter islands, seeding & mulching of disturbed areas, installation of necessary erosion control devices, etc... Contract time allotted for the completion of this project shall be 45 Calendar Days. Contractor shall commence work on or before the date stipulated as the Notice-To- Proceed date. Should no award be made within ninety (90) calendar days after opening of bids, all bids may be rejected and all bid guaranties returned. All Bid(s) shall be submitted on the provided Bid Form(s), in a sealed envelope, bearing on the outside the name and address of the Bidder, the project name, and the Bidder's certificate of responsibility number, as designated in the Notice to Bidders. A Bid bond, signed or counter- signed by a Mississippi Resident Agent or Mississippi Non-Resident Agent licensed to do business in the State of Mississippi, with Power of Attorney attached, or Cashier's check or Certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid, payable to The City of New Albany, must accompany each bid.
