The WORK to be performed under this contract is generally described as, but not necessarily limited to Remove access roll-up door and headspace and install new swinging barnyard doors, Upgrade Outside Power Switchgear and MCC panels on the west wall, Remove existing steelframed roof panels and provide needed headroom for service upgraded pumps, Remove overhead East-West hoist/steel beam and replace with a suitable upgrade to allow safer and more efficient access to below grade equipment for service and maintenance, Replace four 30-hp submersible pumps with four new, 30-horsepower units with variable frequency drives (VFDs), sized to accommodate Peak Wet Weather Flow (PWWF) and Total Dynamic Head (TDH), Replace Instrumentation and Controls to function with upgraded equipment, Facilitate integration to SCADA and Telemetry Equipment of upgraded equipment according to station sequence of operation; testing, commissioning, and startup for the site; provide training for the City and facility operation personnel; provide equipment and system warrantee and trainings per contract documents, Provide New Electrical Wiring and Outside/Inside Lighting, Relocate Eye Wash to the exterior of the building. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or an approved and notarized Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price payable to the City of Lathrop. Said check or bond shall be made payable to the City and shall be given as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Work, will enter into a Contract with the City, and will furnish the necessary insurance certificates and endorsements, Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Warranty Bond. The Performance Bond (100%), Payment Bond (100%) and Warranty Bond (10%) at the stated percentages of the final contract price. The engineer's estimate for the work contemplated by the Base Bid Schedule is $1,792,800.00.
