Renovation of a municipal facility in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Question Deadline 06/12/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Online Portal The Hanover Borough Public Administration Facility is a renovation project located in Hanover Pennsylvania. The project includes alterations to an existing two-story office building which also includes minor site improvements. The existing building is approximately 23,000 square feet with street frontage on both Frederick Street and Doss Alley. The building was previously renovated in 1999 and 2005. The Borough Administration and code enforcement department will be relocated from a nearby building. No questions will be accepted by phone, fax, or direct e-mail. Each bidder must deposit, with the bid, Security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. A performance and payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the estimated contract price, shall be required from the successful bidder. A non-collusion affidavit is required for this bid. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, which must be paid to workmen employed on this project, are incorporated in the Contract Documents. Prospective bidders may discuss the project at that time with representatives of the Owner and Architect. Bids may be taken under advisement and the award of the contract, if awarded, will be made within 60 days after the date of the opening of the bids, or otherwise provided by law. The Borough of Hanover reserves the rights to formally accept a bid and award a contract by public announcement at a regular meeting of its Borough Council. The Borough of Hanover additionally reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in a bid or the bid procedure; and to accept any bid which it may deem to be for or in the best interest of the Borough of Hanover.
