This project includes all design and construction activities related to the rehabilitation of an existing bridge on County Road 26-O (Marseilles-Galion Road) over Roberts-Hill-Monnett Ditch. Construction includes the removal and replacement of the existing bridge superstructure with a new superstructure, rehabilitate the existing substructure as required to construct the new superstructure, approach work and new safety features. A scope of services is included in the bid packet. This project is funded by Marion County and a grant from the Ohio Public Works Commission. The Owner of this project is the Marion County Board of Commissioners, 222 West Center Street, Marion, Ohio 43302. The Contract Administrator is the Marion County Engineer. LOCATION Work location is on Marion County Road 26-O (Marseilles-Galion Road) in Scott Township, Marion County, Ohio, 0.02 miles east of the CR 26 & CR 174 (Pole Lane Road) intersection. Bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Security in the Form of a Bid Bond in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Bid or a Certified Check in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid. In Addition to the Bid Security, a One (1) Year Performance Bond is Required for This Project in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Total Project Cost and May Be Submitted With the Bid Proposal. Engineer's Estimate: $371,750.00 The Board Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids. The Owner Requires That All Work Associated With the Project Be Completed Before Friday, May 23rd, 2025.
