Renovation of a water / sewer project in Cornelia, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days except as specifically provided in the Instructions to Bidders and/or by State law. Base Cost of all Bids will be posted by the Owner/Engineer to online within approximately 30 minutes after the bid closing time. This project is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. The work to be completed shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to replace pumps and electrical equipment at a raw water pump station, including but not limited to, new vertical turbine pumps, electrical building and equipment, variable frequency drives, valve vault, yard piping, SCADA system, earthwork, grassing, soil erosion and sedimentation measures, and appurtenances necessary to provide a complete installation. Time allotted for completion of work is 150 consecutive calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract. There will be an additional $42.00 bid submittal fee.
