The Project is located on Pacific Highway West (OR99W), Dallas-Rickreall Highway (OR223), and Kings Valley Highway (OR223) in the Cities of Dallas and Rickreall in Polk County. The purpose of this project is to redesign and reconstruct curb ramps at signalized and non-signalized intersections so that they meet current ADA design standards. The project also proposes to design and construct pedestrian-activated signals at signalized intersections and mid-block crossings on and adjacent to Agency Right of Way. The specific curb ramp locations were identified as priority locations in the Settlement Agreement of an ADA compliance related lawsuit.
