Reference Number 0000270437 Work of this Contract includes furnishing labour, materials, equipment, services and other related expenses to execute complete construction, alterations and remedial work scheduled for the facilities specified under the Contract Documents. All work is required to be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Labour, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other authorities having jurisdiction. In accepting award of this Contract, Contractor hereby reaffirms that it is fully informed regarding all conditions affecting Work including its company's provincial taxes are in good standing and further accepts to complete Work for purpose intended in accordance with Contract Documents. The Contractor hereby reaffirms that it does not and will not have any conflict of interest in executing work of this Contract. The Work of this Contract involves miscellaneous interior renovations and sitework improvements to the existing École St-Joseph located at 44 Lawton Street in Blind River, Ontario. The scope of the Work generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: .1 miscellaneous interior demolitions and removals to construct new main office suite, classroom, as well as renovations within existing staff room as scheduled; .2 miscellaneous demolition of existing concrete slab-on-grade, masonry partitions and concrete and metal deck as required to facilitate installation of new geared traction elevator, including interior renovations in Senior Kindergarten 108 to suit relocated IT room and washroom; .3 painting of existing interior doors, frames, screens, partitions, and gypsum board ceilings / bulkheads, throughout the school, as scheduled; 2 painting of existing exterior hollow metal doors and frames, as scheduled, including surface preparation, patching and repairs, as required, to suit; .3 supply and installation of with new resilient vinyl tile flooring and base throughout the school, including new rubber stair treads at existing exit stairs, as scheduled, including concrete substrate preparation, as required, to suit; .4 replacement of existing suspended acoustic ceiling system throughout existing corridors, as scheduled, including installation of new wood slat grille panels at main entrance lobby; .5 salvage and relocation of existing millwork components as well as provision of new millwork as scheduled and/or detailed; .6 replacement of existing coat racks; Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
