SECURITY UPGRADES FOR 77 & 111 N FRONT ST BUILDINGS 1. Selected cutting and patching of existing construction. New construction includes construction of a new security desk, new metal detector, new x-ray machine, and associated electrical and data connections to existing systems. 2. The above Work applies to two separate buildings / sites. Work between each building is similar. Owner reserves the right to occupy and to place and install equipment in completed areas of building, before Substantial Completion, provided such occupancy does not interfere with completion of the Work. Such placement of equipment and partial occupancy shall not constitute acceptance of the total Work The city reserves the right to reject a bid it deems non-responsive. This Project has a MBE/WBE participation goal of 11% and is expressed as a percentage. This percentage defines the minimum percentage of the contracted dollar amount to be spent with City certified MBE/WBE companies performing a commercially useful function for the completion of this contract. The goal the contractor will be responsible for achieving will be confirmed or finalized as part of the bid evaluation process and will be listed in the contract.
