Questions Due Date: May 23rd 2024, 2:00 PM EDT Online Portal Direct inquiries to: Purchasing Coordinator City Hall, Rm. 2-45 815 Washington Street Reading, PA 19601 FAX - (610) 655-6427 The City of Reading, Pennsylvania is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide design engineering services for Installation of Playground Safety Surfaces at 3rd and Spring Playground, Essick Playground, Neversink Playground, Pendora Park Playground and Schlegel Park Playground. The improvements include but are not limited to the installation of playground safety surface and meeting ADA accessibility requirements. The City seeks a consultant to provide playground design services in conformance with the federal Community Development Block Grant and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requirements. All costs incurred by proposing firms are considered by the City to be marketing costs required in order to select a firm to perform this work, and the City will not be reimbursing for any costs incurred. No Pre-Proposal Conference. The City seeks a consultant to provide design services in conformance with federal and state requirements. After the consultant receives written authorization to proceed, they shall provide professional services as noted below. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
