Questions Due Date: Jun 12th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT Online Portal All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed via Online Portal Estimated Contract Value: 250,000 Contract Type: Fixed Fee Contract Glen Rock Borough hereby authorizes James R. Holley & Associates, Inc. to act on their behalf by opening bids. Bids will be considered and contracts awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Borough Council based on the recommendations of the Engineer. Work shall consist of, but not be limited to; replacing storm sewer catch basins, replacing storm sewer pipes, the backfill and restoration of removed storm sewer system components, installation of ADA curb ramps and sidewalk blocks, replacing and adjusting water service lines, and the restoration of streets and pavement. A bid bond or certified check made payable to Glen Rock Borough in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany the sealed bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Each bidder shall be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. The Borough reserves the right, which is agreed and understood by all bidders, to accept or reject any or all bids and waive irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn by the bidder for sixty (60) days after closing time of the opening of the bid proposals. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442, as amended. Wage Rates are included in the Contract Documents.
