Site work for a water / sewer project in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The intent of this project is to restore a swale and various rip-rap aprons at the locations depicted below and on the plans. All materials must be installed in accordance with current PennDOT standards. This work includes the following o Mobilization and demobilization o Project supervision and survey stakeout o Establishment and removal of a construction access at 203 Brewster Drive o Stripping, stockpiling, and re-spreading of topsoil o Excavation and grading to the contours indicated on the plans o Re-establishment of 20' long x 10' wide R-4 18" thick rip-rap aprons with geotextile o Installation of 10' wide matting (North American Green C125) with seed o Installation and maintenance of sufficient Erosion and Sedimentation Control measures o Seed and straw mulch application on disturbed areas that were not matted o Seed mixture is to be a blend of 40% Kentucky Blue Grass, 30% Fescue Pennlawn Red, and 30% Annual Ryegrass, applied at a rate of 5 LBS./1,000 SF. Mulch of long stem straw shall be applied at a rate of 3 tons per acres with a surface covering of 100%, plus use of a tackifier. Wedgewood Stormwater Improvements Qualified Minority and Women Owned Businesses (MBE/WBE) are encouraged to respond to the Invitation to Bid.
