The Contractor shall prepare the site for work and protect general work area from damage; Provide all labor, materials, and incidentals to install new roof underlayment; remove and secure from damage the existing clay tile roof to the wood substrate; replace wood sheathing as needed (time and materials as needed); install two layers of 30# felt over prepared substrate with code approved fasteners; mark and snap lines for clay tie layout on new cleats; reinstall clay tiles and replace broken or missing tiles as needed (add alternate cost per tile installed); secure all tops with 6" stronghold nails; secure starter pans with 2" hot dipped galvanized nails; reinstall clay rake tile; reinstall clay tile ridge caps set in mortar; remove all work related debris; and provide a three year workmanship warranty.
