Township Road 10-0A and Range Road 23-1 are located approximately 12km northwest of the City of Lethbridge and was a former Alberta Transportation highway (Old Highway 23). The limits of the project start just north of the intersection of Rge Rd 23-1 and Highway 3, extending north approximately 130m, and west on 10-0A for 2060 meters. Rge Rd 23-1 has an existing asphalt width of 8.2m and a structure width of 10.0m, and Twp Rd 10-0A has an asphalt width of 7.0m and a structure width of 8.0m. The County would like an 8.0m wide driving surface on these roads as there is a gravel shoulder that extends beyond the asphalt surface. The total area of the road requiring rehabilitation is approximately 2190m x 8m for a total of 17,520m2.
