Improvements include the river crossing structure and extends each direction along Rand Road for a total distance of 1,844 feet. This is a reconstruction project and the work to be performed under this contract consists of bridge and retaining wall structures, earth excavation, construction of storm sewers, drainage structures, combination curb and gutter, bituminous concrete pavement, Portland cement concrete pavement, traffic signal modernization, roadway lighting, channelization with pavement markings and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and as described herein.
