The imu pavilion roof consists of an A-frame section with semi-flat roofs that extend along the left and right sides. The left section currently sits at a higher elevation, along the A-frame, than the right section. Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work related to demolishing existing side of imu overhead structure and replacing it with a new corrugated metal roof and supports. The new corrugated metal is to be installed at the same elevation as the remaining section. This is to be achieved by raising the new section approximately 4 feet along the A-frame. DEMO: The Contractor shall first demolish the existing semi-sloped ~200 SQFT of corrugated metal roofing section on the "right" side of the attached drawings. This includes the attached beams, joists, two 4x4 columns of support, and the excess length of corrugated metal roofing on the right side of the A-frame section. INSTALLATION: Contractor shall replace the demolished roofing with new 26-ga galvanized pre-finished steel roofing along the right side of the A-frame at an elevation that matches the left semi-sloped roof section. Contractor is responsible for installing new beams, joists, and 4x4 columns to support the new roofing section. The existing concrete footings shall be repaired as necessary with epoxy or grout to support the new installation. All material, including fasteners and other fittings, used in this project must be zinc coated material(s). The Contractor is responsible for the disposal of existing roofing and field verification of the location of the new roofing, with the Project Manager prior to installation.
