Finishes The MBE goal is 20% The WBE goal is 10% The Cost Qualification Range for this work shall be $2,000,000.01 to $3,000,000.00 All Contractors Bidding on This Contract Must First Be Pre-qualified by the City of Baltimore Boards and Commissions. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Ground Floor: a. Renovation of main lobby finishes and installation of new information desk. b. Renovation of three restrooms and a custodial closet. 2. Second Floor: a. Demolition of existing men's shower / restroom, office spaces, women's locker room, and women's restroom. b. Construction of new men's shower / restroom, women's shower / restroom, and women's locker room. 3. Roof: a. Demolition of existing roof system. Installation of approximately 13,413 square feet of roof system, roof accessories and roof specialties as indicated in the drawings. b. Demolition of existing skylights and related structure. Installation of new metal deck infill and related structure. c. Removal of existing through-wall or reglet counter flashing. Installation of new through-wall counter flashing. 3. Plumbing: a. Remove and restore existing system and equipment to operational condition. b. Demolition of existing restroom / shower fixtures. Installation of new fixtures and associated plumbing. Alter existing plumbing to accommodate new layout. c. Demolition of existing and installation of new roof drainage and mechanical condensate. 4. HVAC: a. Remove and restore existing system and equipment to operational condition. b. Alteration of existing exhaust fan configuration to accommodate new plan layouts in renovation / new construction spaces. Installation of new fans where needed. c. Demolition of existing conductor units and installation of new fan coil unit in new construction spaces. 5. Electrical Power and Lighting: a. Restore existing systems and equipment to operational condition. Alter existing system as indicated on drawings and specifications. b. Demolition of existing and installation of new lighting, power, and data to accommodate the new plans. c. Provide power to new equipment. 6. Contractor shall remove and store the following prior to start of work, for later reinstallation by Contractor: a. Exhaust fans. b. Roof top mounted HVAC unit. c. Roof top mounted cooling tower. d. Brick masonry. e. Suspended ceiling where possible. f. Intake hood g. Wires, cables, and conduit on roof surface. 7. Removal and replacement / reinstallation of interior ceiling as indicated on drawings and throughout specifications.
