Renovation of a residential development in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting proposals for Weatherization Services. Kent County Community Action (the Agency) is a public government organization that operates/administers a Weatherization (Wx) program in Kent County. The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) will reduce energy consumption for households of low-income by increasing the energy efficiency of their homes, while ensuring their health and safety. The certified Energy Auditors will use computerized energy audits and advanced diagnostic equipment to determine the most cost-effective measures appropriate for each home. The certified Weatherization and Mechanical Contractors will install the designated measures. The certified Quality Control Inspectors will use diagnostic equipment to inspect the contracted work for quality workmanship and completeness; and will administer customer satisfaction surveys. The average job cost per unit is $7,954.28. (PY 2022) The Specification is provided as general application guidelines. Kent County reserves the right to request additional information after proposals are received. LICENSES Offerors/Bidders shall maintain in status all federal, state, and local licenses and permits required for the operation of business conducted by the Offeror/Bidder throughout the terms of the contract.
