Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in New Freedom, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

2024 Paving Project. Project includes milling, repairing or replacing road bed, overlay, and line painting. Paving Project at South Front Street, New Freedom, Pennsylvania 17439 The Project is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids, or to reject any or all bids to the extent permitted by law. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, from an approved Surety Company, certified check, or cashier's check payable to the Owner, in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Base Bid. If the Bid Security is provided by check, a scan of check shall be submitted with bid, with the original being provided within two (2) business days of bid opening if bidder is the apparent low responsible bidder. The Work of the Project shall commence no later than ten (10) days after the date listed in the Notice to Proceed, issued by the Owner. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. A notice of intent to award will be issued within 60 days of the bid opening unless extended by the mutual written consent of the contracting body and the bidder.
