Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials to perform all operations necessary to furnish the steel fenders, steel clamping bars, steel angle, shear keys, pintle base covers, and drilling templates per these specs, bid schedule, and attached drawings. All work is to be completed in accordance with these specifications, referenced drawings, Industry Standards, and any and all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances. This includes but is not limited to the rolling, cutting, beveling, chamfering, Quality Control Testing & acceptance, part identification, and packaging. The Contractor shall deliver all the completed parts to Smithland Locks and Dam. Completion Dates: All steel plate and fenders must be delivered to Smithland Locks and Dam by 31 July 2024. Corps of Engineers Inspection: Corps of Engineers personnel shall be allowed to inspect the progress of any portion of this project at the Contractor's work site. All parts or assemblies shall not be shipped until the units have been inspected and approved by the Contractor Quality Control Representative (CQCR), unless the Technical Representative states otherwise. The CQCR shall provide reports to the Technical Representative prior to the shipment of any part or assembly certifying that the part or assembly meets or exceeds the Contract requirements. 1.4 Technical Representatives: All technical questions regarding this contract shall be directed to Brandon Keller at (502) 315-6459, email: brandon.p.keller@usace.army.mil. 1.5 Safety: The Contractor shall complete all work in accordance with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual, EM 385-1-1, and all applicable Federal, State and local laws, codes and regulations. 1.6 Delivery: The contractor shall deliver all items to the Smithland Locks and Dam. Items shall be delivered on a flatbed trailer with forklift access from either side. Items shall be palletized or stacked and banded together in bundles weighing no more than 4000 lbs. The contractor shall notify the Technical Representative, Brandon Keller at (502) 416-5372 and the Lockmaster at Smithland Locks and Dam at (618) 564-2315, at least 48 hours prior to the proposed delivery date.
