The City of Perryville requests qualifications for preliminary architectural services, subsequent architectural design services, and construction inspection services, to assist in a proposed public facilities project to be partially funded with Economic Development Administration (EDA) funds. The remainder of the project is being financed by the City of Perryville with cash match. The project consists of proposed renovations to two city-owned airport hangars to house an airframe and power aviation maintenance education program. Information provided to the city must include at a minimum: 1. The firm's prior experience with projects of a similar nature, including the design and construction of schools, technical education, or training facilities and/or the design and renovation of existing buildings for a similar use. 2. The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm to work within FAA guidelines and regulations and regarding education facilities and airport hangar renovations, or related work. 3. The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within a period of twelve months beginning after award of grant funds. 4. The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules. 5. The firm's proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located. 6. References from previous clients of related work with the firm within the past five years. 7. Documentation of compliance with E-Verify requirements.
