Preble County, through the office of the Preble County Sanitary Engineer, will receive sealed bids for the "Sanitary District 6 Phase 2 Wastewater Treatment Plant Project. Each BIDDER must deposit with their bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS. The OWNER reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities in any bid. No BIDDER may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. NEW LAST DAY FOR QUESTIONS FRIDAY, MAY 17, 2024 12:00 P.M. All questions about the meaning or intent ofthe Contract Documents shall be received in writing by Preble County Sanitary Engineer, 1000 Preble Drive, Eaton, OH 45320, Attention: R. Kyle Cross, at least six days before the date set herein for the opening of bids. Written clarifications or interpretations will be issued by Addenda not later than four days before the bid opening date. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other clarifications or interpretations will be without legal effect. 1. Preliminary treatment channel and one mechanically cleaned screen. 2. Aeration basin with packaged aeration equipment. 3. One clarifier with packaged equipment. 4. One UV disinfection channel with UV lamps and accessories. 5. One post-aeration tank with air-powered mixing equipment. 6. One effluent channel with Parshall flume for flow' measurement. 7. One duplex submersible Drain Pump Station. 8. One sludge holding tank, with two blowers, and two sludge pumps. 9. One sludge dewatering drum and polymer feed equipment to aid in dewatering. 10. Administration and Control Building. 11. Influent meter, meter vault, and accessories. 12. Yard piping, including valves, cleaning, testing and actuators for gravity process influent and effluent sanitary piping, gravity stormwater piping, potable and nonpotable water piping, air piping, pressure piping, and the WWTP gravity outfall pipe. 13. Excavation, backfill, concrete work, drains piping, and related work. 14. General conditions including field surveying, temporary facilities, environmental protection procedures, submittals and shop drawing coordination, operations and maintenance data, and other requirements for the work. 15. Inserts, anchors, bolts, sleeves, and expansion bolts associated with this Contract. Furnish and install all equipment pads for all contracts. Install all items to be embedded in concrete or masonry, including inserts, anchor bolts and sleeves. 16. Field and finish painting. 17. Taps on piping for mounted instrumentation. 18. Sitework including clearing, grubbing, fencing, seeding, paving, grading, and related work. 19. Coordination with utility companies related to installation of buried sewer piping and utilities near existing utilities, such as buried and overhead electrical lines (AES Ohio, formerly Dayton Power & Light), buried natural gas lines (Vectren), City of Eaton (buried water mains), Preble County Engineer and ODOT (buried culverts),and other utilities. 20. Overall coordination of the construction of the project, including temporary facilities and the scheduling and planning of all work. Coordinate scheduling of all training for Owner's personnel as delineated in the respective Specification Sections. 21. Utility fees associated with electricity used at the project site during the duration of the project. 22. Materials, equipment, and labor required to install temporary electrical service at the site to meet the needs of the Contract. 23. Conduits, conductors, terminations, and field connections as required for all motors, process equipment, control equipment, and instrumentation system materials.24. Materials, labor, and equipment for the installation of underground raceways for electrical equipment. This work includes excavation, bedding material, forms, concrete, reinforcement, and backfill. 25. Materials, labor, and equipment for the installation ofthe standby generator. 26. Mount, install, connect, and start-up all control panels and associated electrical/instrumentation devices and components. 27. Install and connect all instrumentation and control devices al the locations shown on the Electrical and Mechanical Drawings and specified in order to provide complete operational systems. 28. Conduct start-up, testing, and Owner training as identified
