The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for landscape maintenance along medians and right-of-way located on Bacons Bridge, Dorchester, and Ladson Roads, Wallace Ackerman and Tasker Drives, and Eagle Creek Trail. These areas have been highlighted on the maps found in Attachment A. o Bacons Bridge Road: All medians and shoulder/pathway maintenance on both sides of the road. o Dorchester Road: All medians and shoulder/pathway maintenance on both sides of the road. o Ladson Road: Shoulders and pathway maintenance on both sides of the road. o Wallace Ackerman Drive: Shoulders and pathway maintenance on both sides of the road, including the traffic circle. o Eagle Creek Trail: Area includes approximately 4300 feet. Trail running from Ladson Road at the bridge by the Ladson Road Fire & EMS Station to the intersection of Hummingbird and Nightingale Avenues. The trail is asphalt that is approximately 10' wide with sloped 7' on the creek side and 8' on the wooded side. o Tasker Drive: Area includes approximately 16,553 square feet at the intersection of Tasker Drive and Dorchester Road. Contract to begin July 1, 2024. The successful Bidder shall provide performance and payment bonds, in a form satisfactory to the County, in the following amounts: Payment Bond: 100% of the total amount of the Contract. Performance Bond: 100% of the total amount of the Contract. The County reserves the right to 1) reject any or all bids and any part of a bid; 2) waive informalities, technical defects, and minor irregularities in bids received; and 3) award the bid(s) received on the basis of individual items or groups of items or the entire list of items. Contract shall begin July 1, 2024. Term of the contract shall be for one year with the option to renew for up to four (4) additional one-year terms, not to extend past five (5) years from the initial agreement date Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond acceptable to the County. Bid bonds must be issued by a corporate surety registered and authorized to do business in the State of South Carolina.
