Site work for a road / highway in Salmo, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Village of Salmo is looking for a contractor to repair and rebuild the sinking section of road located at Fourth Street and Riverside Avenue. The section of road is approximately 20 feet wide and 50 feet wide. The contractor will be required to remove the current section of road along and properly dispose of all materials found below the surface. All road repairs and construction must be done in accordance with municipal road building guidelines and road building standards. All aspects of each repair plan are to be included in the total proposal cost including supplies and disposal. Repaving of the road surface does not need to be included as this will be the responsibility of the Village upon completion of the repairs. Interested proponents that are qualified to supply commercial quality products are welcome to participate in this RFQ process.
