Site work and paving for a road / highway in Laurens, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Laurens County Department of Public Works is seeking bids from qualified road construction general contractors for "Improvements to Laurens County Roads 2024/2025". This project will consist of asphalt resurfacing of fourteen (14) roads with full depth patching one (1) cul-de-sac. Only full depth patching on one (1) road. Variable milling to be included on all but one. A Railroad crossing is present on one (1) CSX. increase by up to 30% of similar construction - or decrease the contract as necessary to match available funding. All contract works to be completed within 180 working days from execution of contract. Liquidated damages in the amount of $100.00 per day will be assessed and deducted from the contract amount, for each day beyond the contract period required for completion.
