Site work for a water / sewer project in Hudsonville, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes furnish and installation of approximately 2,300 water meters ranging in size from 5/8"x3/4" to 4". The water meters to be new fully integrated self-contained solid state absolute encoder register and a radio frequency AMI meter interface unit metering system. The metering information shall be obtained through a fully integrated radio frequency AMR/ AMI device using a compatible data capture system. All existing meters and proposed new meter installations are located in private residences and businesses within the City of Hudsonville's service area. A pre-bid conference will not be held. The City of Hudsonville reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. CONTRACT TIMES The number of days within which, or the dates by which, the Work is to be (a) substantially completed and (b) ready for final payment, and (c) Milestones (if any) are to be achieved, are set forth in the Agreement.
