The purpose of this Invitation For Bid (IFB) is to evaluate and select vendors that can provide secondary backup emergency restoration services for fiber optic cable overhead and underground, on any deemed natural declared emergency at various JEA sites and provide the best value to JEA (the "Work" or "Services"). "Best Value" means the highest overall value to JEA with regards to pricing, quality, design, and workmanship. ***Note: JEA has a primary contract for these services which includes a primary emergency response, however, the secondary backup contract would be used for emergency events in which the primary contractor is not available. A more detailed description of the Work is provided in the Technical Specifications included as an Exhibit to this Solicitation. Capitalized terms used in this Solicitation without definition shall have the definitions given to them in Section 2 of this Solicitation. All Questions must be submitted in writing to the JEA Buyer, Angel Iosua at iosuad@jea.com at least five business days prior to the opening date. Questions received within five business days prior to the opening date may not be answered.
