ORDER 100105778 SITE OF THE WORK The project location is at 17601 63rd Ave. NE, Arlington, WA 98223, in Snohomish County PWC - Crosswind Substation Site Construction. Each bid must be accompanied by proof of bid security which guarantees the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the total amount bid, excluding tax. Such security shall be in the form of a certified or cashier's check payable to the Public Utility District No. 1 of Snohomish County, or a bid bond (see Exhibit A) issued by a corporate surety licensed to do business in the State of Washington. DISTRICT with performance security in the amount of 100% of the total Contract price, including tax, or such other amount as the DISTRICT deems necessary, which shall cover the full, faithful performance of the Contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Work Description and Site: This contract consists of constructing a new single bank electrical substation on District property located at 17601 63rd Ave. NE, Arlington, WA 98223, in Snohomish County. Construction includes, but is not limited to: demolition and stripping of existing hard surfaces, temporary erosion and sedimentation controls, earthwork, storm drainage conveyance systems including infiltration trench and compost amended vegetated filter strips, cast-in-place concrete including pedestrian curb, slab-on-grade, spread footings and drilled pier foundations, a transformer oil spill containment system, electrical conduits and vaults, a substation grounding system including ground wells, substation security fence system including gate access and fence curbing, substation yard crushed rock surfacing, an access road construction with a combination of asphalt pavement and crushed rock surfacing, placement of imported soil mix, final grading, and hydroseeding.
