The scope of work consists of re-skinning of exterior building envelope of an existing Air Cargo Building at Kahului Airport and related work including but not limited to, mechanical, structural, and electrical systems. The estimated cost of construction is between $3,000,000 and $5,000,000 . To be eligible for award, bidders shall possess a valid State of Hawaii General Building "B" license at the time of bidding. All Request for Information (RFI) questions and Substitution Requests shall be submitted in online no later than May 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., HST. RFI questions received after the stated deadline shall not be addressed. Apprenticeship Preference. A five percent bid adjustment for bidders that are party to apprenticeship agreements pursuant to HRS & is applicable to this project. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any defects in said proposals in the best interest of the public.
