Renovation of a multi-residential development in Laredo, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The City of Laredo Community Development Municipal Housing is requesting informal bids for repairs to 2014 Lowry Rd. in Laredo, TX., subject to the terms and conditions and other contract provisions. The purpose of this project is to repair the roofing, second floor HVAC, HVAC disconnects, carpentry, paint, caulking, and smoke detectors as per TVC - FVA Grant program. Work shall include, but is not limited to, demolition and removal of debris. This project is approximately 1966 square feet living area in size. Contractor shall have 30 calendar days to complete the project in its entirety. If the contractor goes over the 30 days liquidated damages may apply. Submission and award of bid shall be based on the "Terms and Conditions of the Invitation for Bids", which is attached and is part of these specifications. This contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder(s) in accordance to the provisions of Chapters 252 and 271 of the State of Texas - Local Government Code. The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance 2018-O-175. All informal and formal Requests for bids for contracts will be evaluated with a 5% preference for local vendors. The City of Laredo reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor irregularities. Question Deadline 05/21/2024 at 12:00 PM CT
