Columbus County has received a Community Development Block Grant-Neighborhood Revitalization (CDBG-NR) award in the amount of $950,000 by the North Carolina Department of Commerce (NCDOC) for the 2023 CDBG-NR Project which includes 5 housing units to be rehabilitated/reconstructed. These houses are scattered throughout the county. The project will take place over the next 36 months The County Board of Commissioners are soliciting proposals for grant administration services to assist the County in the administration and management of this project in compliance with all applicable requirements under the North Carolina CDBG-NR Program. The fee for grant administration services will be paid with CDBG-NR funds. Grant administration services shall include, but are not limited to, standard tasks necessary for the implementation of the project in conformance with the following CDBG compliance areas The services will not include the disbursement or account of funds distributed by the County's financial officer, legal advice, fiscal audits, or assistance with activities not related to the CDBGNR project Respondents may review the CDBG-NR application which includes a description of the proposed project including activities, budget, schedule, and other pertinent information by visiting the County Administration Office during regular office hours.
