Renovation of a library in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Mar Vista Academy Painting and Flooring. each bid shall be accompanied by cash, a cashier's or certified check, or a bidder's bond executed by an admitted surety insurer, made payable to the District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid. A payment bond is required for a public works contract involving an expenditure in excess of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00). Separate payment and performance bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total Contract amount, are required, and shall be provided to the District prior to execution of the Contract and shall be in the form set forth in the Contract Documents. Project Estimated Budget $110,000.00. Public Contract Code 22000 et seq. Scope of Work Painting of interior of classrooms 802, 803 and 804 per contract documents. New carpet flooring over existing tile, new ACT acoustical ceiling tiles, new acoustical wall mounted panels, new light fixtures, reinforcement of storefront walls, installation of Wenger instrument storage (ofci) and demolition of existing cabinet storage, white boards and other items. Rerouting of existing electrical raceways to accommodate installation of instrument storage and acoustical wall mounted panels. The scope of work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, accessories, appliances, tools, equipment, facilities, transportation, applicable taxes and services necessary for, and incidental to, performing all operations in connection with the specification sections listed below, complete as indicated on the drawings and specifications or incidental to the requirements of this Bid Package Contractor and/or specified herein, unless specifically excluded. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
