Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB) 58 MXS Hangar 1037 GENERAL INFORMATION: This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for construction utilizing simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in the Attachments/Links tab. Please see attached Request for Quotation (RFQ), Statement of Work (SOW), Wage Determination, and other ancillary documentation for detailed requirement information and instructions for responding to this Request for Quotation. REQUIREMENT INFORMATION: The purpose of this effort is to furnish the parts, materials, labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to replace an existing breathing air piping, hose reels, regulators, gaes and user connections and connect to the existing compressor and air purifier to include disposal of existing components located at Hangar 1037, Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), New Mexico. The Contractor shall meet all requirements discussed in this Statement of Work. This requirement will consist of procuring components compatible with the existing breating compressor and air purifier. Questions and Answers/ Assumptions and Exceptions: Contractors are cautioned that all communications are to be channeled through the Contracting Officer (CO). Any questions, whether technical or contractual in nature shall be submitted in writing to the CO at alexander.ramsower@us.af.mil and CS at jeffrey.sorensen.8@us.af.mil by 9:00 AM, MDT; 29 May 2024. No further questions will be addressed on this project after this date. Contractors shall address any assumptions and proposed exceptions to the CO in their proposal.
