General Description of Work Work to be performed consists of the furnishing of all materials, equipment, labor and supplies to complete the work as shown on the plans and specifications on file with the Carver County Engineers Office, Public Works Division, 11360 Highway 212, Suite 1, Cologne, MN 553228016. 2. Location of Work SP 010-596-013, SP 1013-77: On TH 212 from 1745 feet west of Tacoma Ave. to 145 feet west of CSAH 36/Lake ST W. SP 010-651-015: On CSAH 51 from 1938 feet south of TH 212 to 1360 feet north of TH 212. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond naming Carver County as oblige, certified check payable to the Carver County Treasurer or a cash deposit equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the County in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract. The Carver County Board reserves the right to retain the proposal guaranty of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids will be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and times set for the opening of bids. The Carver County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interests of the County.
